Thank you for your email, have found something for us to work on.

Patrick Linskey age 28 and Margaret Linskey age 30 arrived in Victoria, Australia in March 1862 on the ship called the "Harry Bluff", I believe that this ship came to grief sometime in 1869. (I believe that this ship sailed from USA)

I have also learned that my great-grandfather was Patrick Lynskey and my great-grandmother was Margaret Mcgrath, Patrick and Margaret Lynskey had 2 sons John and Thomas.

John married a woman named Susan Wear in 1895, they had 4 children , Florence Mary (1896), Margaret, Agatha (1897) and Eveleen (1898).  (Margaret and Agatha were born and died in 1897).

Thomas (my grandfather) married Annie Croker in 1896, they had 10 children.  Mary Elizabeth (1897), Lizzie (1899), Margaret (1902), Eileen (1904), Martin (my father) (1905-1990), Thomas Patrick (1907-1909), Annie Irene (1909) (born and died 1909), William Patrick (1911-1961).

Thomas Lynskey was a gold miner and died at the age of 45 in 1911, his wife Annie lived until 72 and died in 1942.   I believe that I am the very last Lynskey alive today from this line, as there were no surviving sons to carry on the family name.  I will write again to you as soon as more info comes to light, hope you have some luck with this.

Peter, I was looking at the picture of Michael's brother John in your letter, then I had a look at the photos I have of my Uncle John and my grandfather, and my husband Frank and myself cannot believe the family resemblence...It makes me wonder if some where along the Lynskey lines we are related!  I hope that this information can be of some use to you, and I would appreciate any assistance by way of information that you can give me....family rates (ha,ha,ha!) no plastic required!!!  Hope to hear from you again soon,

Thank you for your email received around 8am this morning Sunday 19th November, 2000 - word sure travels fast!  I have to say the information on the tree is just about right except for a few small things.
 
Patrick Linskey and Margaret McGrath (Linskey) were the only two with the spelling "Linskey" their children have spelling of "Lynskey" on record.
 
Then we get to me, still living, firstly married to Lerrel Robert Turner in 1976, had two children Daniel Lee born 7 April 1977, age 23 and Melanie Ann Turner born 1 November 1978, age 22.  Melanie lives with Brannon Smith and they have two children Brearna April Smith born 27 October 1998 and Tyla Kiara Smith born 13 March 2000, Melanie is due to have a third child around 1 February 2001.
I divorced Lerrel Turner in 1984.
 
My second marriage was to Alan Simon Fraser on 20 December 1985 and divorced 1989 (no children).
 
My(our) third and very last marriage is to Norman Francis Salisbury born 11 December 1959, we firstly met at the age of 13 years just in our first year of high school.  We were married on 2 April 1994 at Rye in Victoria.  We have no children together.  My husband (Frank) has 3 children to previous marriages, (1) Hope age 21, (2) Joshua age 15 and Jakob age 13.
